Paul
and Gary are finishing off some N E W S O N G S in the GMD
studio next week ready for the 'Gathered with Pryde' Gig in Edinburgh
Scotland in June.
'Prydes'
from all over the world are converging on the Scottish Mining Museum in
Edinburgh, and Paul has written some powerful songs for the event. Paul's
grandfather was a miner himself and the tough, dirty and hard working
environment of the underground is captured with gritty realism in a
special song cycle and poem 'The Blue and the Black'.

2010 Crosswinds Barn
Date!
Those
of you who attended our evenings last year at Crosswinds Barn will hopefully
have fond memories of the fantastic nights we had there. We really enjoyed
the gigs so you will be pleased to know there are more dates planned for
Summer 2010.
You are invited to take part in a unique Musical Co-Operative
at the
Crosswinds Barn, Mill Road, Marsham
with
JT & Accent3
& their guests performing in an intimate private concert
setting
7:30pm
Friday 11th June 2010
Refreshments will be available, but please feel free to bring a bottle
/ picnic / and chair.
There will be no admission charge! You just have to pay to get
out! This is an opportunity to hear a wide and varied selection of music in
a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
After
‘the hat’ has been filled (hopefully) a donation to Gary’s son
Oliver’s School (The Hall School, Old Catton) will be made. Last year we
raised nearly £500 for The Hall School . The Hall School is a specialist
college for communication and interaction providing excellent facilities for
children with learning difficulties such as autism. You all helped to fund a
very expensive and large, state of the art touch screen for the children to
use in the newly opened sensory and multimedia room. It enables the kids of
all abilities and disabilities to watch films, use the internet and learn
through special computer programs.
If
you are interested please email us, or better still leave a message on our
guestbook or try that new fangled Twitter thing!
Amongst
the favourites, the
boys will be playing some new songs from this years upcoming Scottish tour!
Maybe join our Facebook site, go on, be a fan!
Remember
'From Fen to
Glen & back again' in 2008?
well
in June 2009 it
was...
'Reepham
to Riviera' or
even 'Taverham
to Torquay'

JT
& Accent 3
travelled to the
Torquay area in
June 2009 for a
mini-tour of the
English
Riviera!
Along
the way they
caught up with
Philip Woodrow
(Roger's
nephew), who
some of you will
remember
drumming for
Denim, and
playing bass for
Sounds Imperial
locally a few
years ago.
Philip
now has his
successful one
man show on the
Riviera circuit,
belting out
quality vocals
like only he
can!
Best
quote of the
week as we were
setting up one
night from a
member of the
audience was:
(apply
appropriate 'Jethro'
lilt)
'If
we don't like
you, we'll tell
you to f***
off....!'
Well
thank goodness
it was a great
night! I'll
upload some pics
one day....! Maybe even the Crocodile!
