Paul's early career included
film, TV and radio work together with numerous sessions at
many top London recording studios. Olympic, Island, Morgan, and Decca
to name a few. Former musical connections include George
Harrison, Maurice Gibb and 'Love Affair'.
As a founder member of 'English Rose' - a spin-off from 'Love Affair', he appeared in a totally forgettable film called 'Groupie Girl' This to his horror has become a cult classic of the Seventies! After touring around Europe and Scandinavia with Pipp a successful New Zealand band (formally Fourmyula) he moved to Norfolk where he continued to play and perform semi-professionally with Accent. He enjoyed the dedication and attitude of like minded musicians who were serious about having fun and continues to perform with John, Roger, and Gary under the Accent Banner. Pride of Dunbar has fulfilled a lifelong passion and love of making music and has enabled Paul to concentrate on composing thoughtful songs and lyrics with a story. Many from everyday life experiences and emotions we all share. He does however wear red socks...! |
